Dr. Heimeier Executive Search GmbH has been established 35 years ago and today has a leading position within personnel consulting industry in Germany. The company operates in four offices in Germany and a branch in Belgrade, Serbia, established to support companies and organizations in SEE. Through executive search as core business, Dr. Heimeier advises companies of diverse industry sectors and sizes and supports them in the search and selection process of executives.
Our client is a global automotive company, headquartered in Germany, operating in North Macedonia as one of double-digit number of worldwide locations. The North Macedonian plant has long tradition in the local market and plays an important role in the company`s overall operations, contributing significantly to the global success. In all global locations, local top management is set based on four-eyes principle meaning that a plant is led by two key persons, one for technical and the other for non-technical areas. For the plant in North Macedonia, the second role is open, and reporting line goes directly to Global CFO, a board member in HQ in Germany. Below the Finance and Administration Director are department managers and the structure include: finance, controlling, IT, indirect purchasing, HR and general administration (excluding technical structure).
 
Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the commercial plant structure
  • Accountable for permanent optimization of quality performance and cost structures within the site, as well as for a healthy overhead structure
  • Follows company`s global systems and procedures for all commercial functions; common use of SAP
  • Leads the commercial structure and is deeply involved and hands-on
  • Maintains close communication and successful cooperation with the site`s technical structure
  • Accountable for cost control, keeping budget on target and achieving objectives
  • Company culture enabler - establishes and maintains the importance of the company values - commitment, integrity, loyalty and reliability
  • Takes part in hiring and personnel management
  • In charge for communication with internal and external entities, like government, community and similar
  • Close cooperation with the company HQ
 
Professional qualifications:
  • Higher education in the field of economy or similar
  • Economics/financial studies and comparable skills acquired through previous experience
  • Long-term experience in industrial business as Finance/Administration Director/Plant CFO is mandatory
  • Experience in an international automotive supplier is highly preferable, while experience in a high management role is essential, together with developed management and leadership skills
  • Experience in factories that employ more than 1000 employees is highly preferable
  • Familiarity with automotive business, methods and standards
  • Native in local language; fluent in English; German would be additional plus
