Dr. Heimeier Executive Search d.o.o. is a daughter company of Dr. Heimeier Executive Search GmbH, established to support companies and organizations in SEE. Our client is an accredited laboratory in Germany, a subsidiary of a large international group which develops and manufactures mechatronic products for industry, with over 10,000 employees. On behalf of the parent company and also for a third-party market, the company specializes as an EMC and environmental laboratory and as a service center for industrial computed tomography. As an accredited laboratory, our Client has the competence to carry out tests on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), telecommunications and electrical engineering (environmental simulation) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The well-established and well-known company is developing very well, which necessitates additional personnel in the area of EMC.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Conducting EMC tests according to checklists, test plans or standard specifications inhouse, but also at external customers (automotive, medical technology and many more)
Creating of technical documentation (test reports)
Full day customer support during EMC tests
Determination and analysis of test and measured values, initiate interference suppression measures if necessary
Close communication with laboratory management
Carry out all tests according to Company’s standard processes and maintain quality
Measurement and test equipment tracking, partial implementation
Any technical customer advice on site, or by telephone/e-mail
In this function, the Test Engineer EMC reports directly to the Head of the EMC laboratory.
Professional qualifications:
University degree in electrical engineering/electronics/mechatronics
Ideally developer know-how
Experience in EMC / testing / laboratory operation either in the TIC environment or in the development or laboratory area of an industrial company
Experience in dealing with technical documents (creation, understanding, delta analysis, correction checks)
Good understanding of standards and their application
Understanding of measuring and testing systems (functions, calibrations, validations, measurement and test chains, etc.)
Understanding of circuit diagrams/block diagrams and technical drawings (technical documents)
Safe handling of oscilloscopes and other electronic measuring devices
If available: Use of MS Office, CanOE, CanAPE, EMC32 or similar
Fluency in English; good knowledge of German language or willlingness to learn it
Personal profile:
High level of communication and social skills
Openness to new topics (e.g. familiarization with standards, showing interest in customer products, etc.)
Teamwork in the laboratory, but also sovereign independence
