Our management diagnostics provides systematically based insights into managers` leadership style, strengths and development areas, as well as motivational drivers to perform their best. Dr. Heimeier Executive Search d.o.o. provides management diagnostics as custom-made service based on the client specific need.

Management diagnostics represents systematic evaluation of managers, either candidates for management roles, either already employed managers or other employees with strategic accountabilities, and is a basis for making important decisions. In rapidly changing environment in particular, the procedure provides additional opportunity to objectively benchmark requirements and appropriate matching.

Dr. Heimeier Executive Search provides management diagnostics for a wide range of application areas and the service itself is always adjusted for specific need of a specific client. It might be used as addition to our executive search and combined search process; as a process that will identify high-potential employees within the company as a basis for succession planning, as assessment of existing manager(s) due to further career planning or determination of learning and development plans.

Management Salaries Benchmark

Our aim is to provide the right personnel solutions and services in our local market, and this also includes accurate total rewards data for management positions.

Our benchmark projects are focused solely on the industrial segment, i.e. production industry in Serbia. The positions covered are typical factory positions, including technical and non-technical positions.

We have conducted three consecutive annual Management Salary Benchmark projects (2023, 2024, and 2025), building a robust database with detailed insights on over 330 individual management positions across nearly 50 manufacturing companies in Serbia.

A different perspective

Industrial segment has been strongly developing over the past years in Serbia and some industries are really fast-growing.  Consequently, it is no longer so easy to find certain profiles and, from the perspective of hiring need, competitors are all factories in the geographical area accessible for daily commuting. Clearly, non-technical roles are not industry-related per se, but over time, more people from certain technical leading roles are switching from one industry to another.

 

Thus, our benchmarking frame perspective is related to a combination of relevant factors: geographic area, size of a local business and industry.

Financial Expectations vs Existing Salaries

Candidates’ financial expectations for a job change sometimes do not align with the realities of the market. In fast-growing industries, both market compensation and expectations rise, but not necessarily at the same pace. While understanding candidates` expected salaries is valuable, it is even more critical to compare it with current earnings.

With compensation data gathered through our benchmark projects – directly from official companies` representatives – we provide accurate, reliable market insights. This enables us to bridge expectation gaps, facilitating more informed and successful negotiations.

Ethical Approach to Sensitive Data

The data in our database is strictly confidential, and we do not disclose any individual information. Instead, it serves as the foundation for creating tailored reports for interested parties.

Based on the specific needs of each business, we extract a relevant sample from our database, apply statistical methods, and generate customized reports. The selection criteria – such as geographic location, industry, and company size – are fully adaptable, ensuring that both the analysis and final reports are precisely tailored to each client’s requirements.

In our benchmark database, there are more than 330 management roles with associated salaries, bonuses and benefit packages. Different production industries and companies` size are included. We have data for small companies, employing less than 100 people, across mid-sized segment and German Mittelstand, to large multinational corporations.

Total rewards reports

A total reward report for a position contains annual gross salary, percentage of maximal annual bonus, applicable benefits and details regarding the salary increase comparing to last year.


Salary reports

Salary data are presented through 25th percentile, 50th percentile, 75th percentile and the mean.


Benefits reports

A benefit report shows representation among following options: pool car, company car 24/7 with(out) limited fuel, private health insurance for the manager and/or for the manager and the family, private pension insurance, catering, housing costs, shares, hybrid work, flexible working hours.


Benchmark by geographical regions

We have separate data for regions: Belgrade and surrounding, area north from Belgrade (Vojvodina) and area south from Belgrade (Šumadija, Western, Southern and Eastern Serbia).


Benchmark by business size

Compensations won`t be the same in small, mid-sized or large companies. We have data based on annual turnover in Serbia and local number of employees.
